The deep, rounded sides of this delicately potted bowl are enamelled on the exterior with four archaistic phoenixes in pink, yellow, blue and green, interspersed with flowers and lotus scrolls, all set between gilt bands around the rim and foot. The base with a six-character Guangxu mark in underglaze blue.
